About Armenian Tax Rules 2026
- Income tax: flat 20% (10% for IT sector).
- Pension: 5% on gross up to 500,000 AMD; sliding rate above.
- Stamp duty: 1,000 AMD if gross < 1,000,000; 110,000 AMD if gross ≥ 1,000,000.
- Health insurance: 0 AMD up to 200,000; 4,800 AMD up to 500,000; 10,800 AMD above.
About Armenian Labor Law
According to Armenian labor law, the main rules for full-time employment are as follows:
- The minimum monthly wage is 75,000 AMD (gross), as set by current legislation.
- The standard work week is 40 hours, normally 8 hours per day, on a 5-day schedule.
- Rest days are typically Saturday and Sunday, although other work schedules may be established depending on the employer and the nature of the work. Pay for work on public holidays is at no less than double the regular rate, or compensated with another paid day off.
- The minimum annual paid leave is 20 working days; weekends and public holidays are not counted toward the leave balance.
